Boo!

Scare you much? Yeah, I knew it. :D

Anyways, Happy Halloween!

Hope you have a good one, whether it's out trick or treating (I'm saddened we don't do it here in Australia), or staying in and watching a few horror films. :)

I was gonna do a post on some amazing Halloween fashion I've saw some people display this earlier, but for some reason Stardoll suites won't load for me, so I'll just show you a few pics courtesy's of Google Images.

Global Philippinos

Time and time again, it's always nice to go back to your own roots. As my abuelo would always say: "For you to be able to go far, you must first know and remember where you came from."

Those words of wisdom remained in my heart and those same words i follow everyday... hence, it just makes sense for me to make a post in relation to the things i live by

I grew up in the Philippines, I spent parts of my life in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong but I am a Philippino in every sense of the word. I know for a fact that the Philippines is known for its seems-heaven-on-earth beaches and hospitable people, but as the country's local fashion industry evolves into something with a Global flavor, more and more Philippinos make name for themselves in the International scene.

Bea Valdes. I got my first Bea Valdes piece about a year ago as a gift for my 18th birthday. And it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life.

PICTURED ABOVE: Flower of Evil Necklace. $777.

Bea's pieces are all hand made and no two pieces are the same. Each and everyone of them would have a story to tell and a masterpiece in its own right. Her designer philosophy is "One Bead at a Time".... and what marvelous beads indeed!

PICTURED ABOVE: Hawaiiki Evening Bag. $2,353

Having her accessories and clutches used in the hit movie Sex and the City 2 was Bea's ultimate claim to fame. Carrie Bradshaw's iconic movie screen cap showed her sporting Bea Valdes' Bella Evening Clutch.

Josie Natori. Josie Natori was one of the very few designers who was able to successfully transition from Lingerie to a Lifestyle. RTW, Accessories, fragrance and home items... Natori has got it all.

Her designs have an avante garde almost whimsical touch to it but structured and classy at the same time. Natori is synonymous to luxury as they say.

Her designs are all Art you can wear. She mixes fabrics and patterns playfully. What could have turned out tacky becomes magic through her hands.Just recently, she launched a whole new collection for the younger market, Josie by Natori.

Monique Lhuillier. Yes, she is from Cebu, Philippines. If you still don't know who she is, she just happens to be the designer behind the wedding gowns of Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Heidi Montag and Eva Longoria.

A lot of Monique's evening dresses became staples on the red carpet worn by Reese Witherspoon, Sarah-Jessica Parker, Teri Hatcher, Mischa Barton and Pink to name a few.

Tagged as the IT designer to the stars, Monique has been featured several times in Vogue and Vanity Fair.

...Well... If her list of your clientele includes Barbie herself, she must be big.

Behold.

Lady Dior Editorial

I've realized, that this blog at the moment is more fashion than modeling, that is why I have decided to show you the four episodes in the Marion Cotillard’s Lady Dior Story.

The latest, and final, installment in the Lady Dior ad campaign was released a little over a week ago.

Set in Paris^^

Set in Shanghai^^

Set in New York^^

Set in London^^

I think it is absolutely gorgeous! For more info about Lady Dior go here. My favourite would be New York, that background is jaw-dropping! How about you?

Louis Vuitton or Hermès?

Are you a bag lover?
.
I am an addict! I am obsessed with these things!
.
Bags to me are like shoes to Imelda Marcos, Tyra Banks to America's Next Top Model, Edward Cullen to Bella Swan.
.
Aside from Facebook, i think that bags are one of God's greatest gifts to mankind... well... at least not before concealer and lipgloss. :)
.
When it comes to brands though, there are very few powerful brands that actually stand out from the rest and separate the owner from the so called masses. Among the favorites are Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Goyard and of course, Louis Vuitton and Hermès.
..

.
.
These two brands are probably one (or two for that matter) of the most hyped power-bag-brands in this lifetime. Thanks to the likes of Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham.
.
But do you know that unknown to many (excluding all the fashionistas around...), this is a case of bag warfare turned bag alliance?
.
In 1993, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) has acquired a 17% stake worth in company shares in Hermès International. Apparently, the decision to list the company in the Paris Stock Exchange is a move by Hermès to support its long term goal of expansion.
.
.
.
.
For bag lovers everywhere like myself, this means that Hermès may be on the way to coexisting peacefully with LV on the luxury retail shelf! haha!
.
.
While I am at it, Stardoll... yes we have the Patchwork, the Speedy (or something that looks like it), the LV Weekender and the Ashley Bag but can we please, pretty please have MORE?
.
... I am practically on my knees and begging you (believe me I don't do this very often...). You already gave us Chanel I know, but remember... girls can't have enough luxury bag brands around. *wink*
.

And Stardoll, while you're at it (i'll be pushing the envelope further now...) can we have this Carrie Bradshaw Crystal "Bella" Clutch from Sex and the City 2 designed by fellow Philippino designer Bea Valdes on the Starplaza shelves as well...please??? :)
.
.
L-O-V-E it !!!

Haunted: sceneries

Halloween's just around the coroner and I can see the sprit in many sceneries.

I've found two sceneries that have a haunted quality that makes them quite editorial.

The fisrt is by RockinEllee:

The second is by loluuu for the club SNTM.XX

What do you think of them? Which one do you like better?

White Lace

I've been meaning to post this dress for a couple days now, but I've had homework and I told myself I wasn't allowed to post until I did it. :)

Anyways, looks at this stunning dress!

I love lace with pastel whites, it looks so feminine and gorgeous and it's a great combination. I especially love clothes that look like a lot of hand-made effort has been put in them, I don't know what, it just seems like a quality a lot of garments lack. All that stitching couldn't have been done by machine, could it? ;)

I just adore it, how about you?

P.s: I'm still looking for one or two writers, contact me if interested!

Hermosa Pesadilla

It's been three years and 5 months.
Two Covergirl titles after, One blog (medollmemoires.blogspot.com), lots of friends (and enemies) made, a handful of controversies faced, gone for a couple of times... and I am still here.
.
Stardoll.com i guess is like a stick of cigarette to many. You cringe at the thought of consuming it from the very tip up to the head of the filter. Addicting.
Since i went back (for the nth time), i received several offers to write for different blogs. Due to time constraints on my real-homosapien-life, i had to decline each and every single one of them.... until i received this one from editorializedsd.blogspot.com.
.
This blog is understated and classy, unpretentious and real. It was an offer too delicious to resist.
.
In here, let's talk about life, fashion and everything that is an inspiration to many of us. This is OUR segment in this blog.
.
...speaking of inspiration, this sweet gesture from a dear friend is too timely (and fabulous) not be shared with all of you.
.

.
Ladies (...and everyone i love in between), i am Noelle Page.
.

Now let's talk.

Style Wars: Noelle_Page vs. Style_Magzine

Who won? I love how Noelle looks so glam, I think her doll is so gorgeous, but Style looks so fabulous!

What do you think? Noelle or Style?

Valentino A/W 2010/11: Kylie's Favourites

I love and adore Valentino, I think they have some super creative outfits. Their A/W collection is full of blacks and whites, two colours that will always go together. I just had to feature a few outfits!

What did you think of their collection, hit or miss?

News

Ahaa I suck, I love this blog, I really do, and I'm sooo sorry for not posting, but... I have a valid excuse.

Photoshop.

I'm so addicted to editing photos. I've attempted stardoll graphics, but they aren't for me. I have some pics I've got to show you when blogger will let me upload.

Anyways, the point of this post, is that to tell you I am still looking for writers, plus I have a few new segments coming up. I have all these ideas for this blog, and some ideas aren't very fashion focused, but I want this blog to be more and to have more meaning, if you get me.

More will be revealed soon!

Oh My Boot

I was a browsing Net-A-Porter today, which is one of my guilty obsessions. All those clothes, shoes, handbags! I love it all to much, but at the moment, I don't even have a part time job, so I think those clothes are a bit out of my league at the moment. xD

Anyways, this was the first thing that caught my eye.

Alaïa, £1,068.09.

I am in love with them, and yes, I am declaring my love for a pair of shoes.

What do you think? Hot or What?

How To Buy The Chanel 2.55

1)  Buy it in the shop for thousands of dollars.

2) Loan it for a week or a month for a couple hundred. (clicky <<)

3) Buy it virtually, ranging from 6 to 500 sd (depending on the price in the Starbazaar).

P.s I've added a blog list with websites about Stardoll and not. :) I'll get a new banner soon I hope.

You Ready To Party?

Hope to see you there!

(Btw, I made the invite, I finally got Photoshop!)
