The Chase

Thousands of members have joined the chase. The chance to win it all. The ultimate title: Miss Stardoll World.

Broadcasts are full, and there are always new GB entries and messages showing up.

"Vote, vote, vote!"

Stardoll makes it so easy to advertise yourself.

Everyone has such high hopes. But the truth is that 99% of these members will not even make the top 680. Then what will they think? Why am I not good enough? What makes them better than me?

The straight truth is that those who do become finalist may not be better than you. Maybe they just have more money to broadcast. Or maybe they offered an incentive for votes. In the real world this is known as bribery

I'm sure if we all took a step back and realized that these pixels mean nothing, all this insanity wold go away. But the truth  is, that's impossible to do.

Everyone wants it, only one can have it.
Let the chase begin.

PS: Did you like my scenery?
PPS: There will be changes with the writes soon, some will go - and who knows, maybe there will be new ones!

Scenery feature: Tigre89

I was browsing in MelsModels sceneries for some inspiration and.. I was speechless when I saw this awesome scenery by Tigre89! Elegant, mysterious and chic - I felt the Paris near me. The out-of-the-box pose was risky, but it looks so realistic! The task was Ad for fragrance, and this scenery definitely is a one. Congratulations, keep up your work!

Also, a bit about me! My name is Ellen (as you see) and I am the newest writer of Editorialized! I will write about modeling agencies and cycles, feature sceneries, interview supermodels and aspiring models and - the job of my dreams - write SFW reviews.
That's it, keep your eyes open for more posts! :)

Sceneries: atmosphere

Now we all should know that posing is not everything. Atmosphere is also very important.  This scenery by tigre89 shows just that.
This amazing, mysterious atmosphere, and lovely portrayal of  September is why this scenery is the task 3 winner of MelsModels. A great accomplishment indeed.

This scenery is proof that you do not need to be a kick-ass poser to take the modeling industry by storm.

Here is my attempt at an atmospheric/minimalistic posing scenery:

So what do you think? Is atmosphere important when you're making sceneries?

Scenery Feature: .Pease.

Well you most likely all know my weakness for underwater photography from my post about it previously. Infact I even have an underwater room now, if you visit my suite. So you can imagine how my jaw simply dropped  when I saw this scenery by .pease. aka Linnea:

So elegant and mysterious...and other-worldly.

Now I'm just speechless (:

Well it's a new year, and that means new posts! Some new Ideas I have are to give some tips on how to changes your expression to go with the mood of your scenery, and maybe a segment of "spot what's wrong". The segment would show sceneries where maybe something's just a little bit off (arm too short ect) and you can guess what's wrong! It would help you to see what's wrong in your own sceneries while you're making them, so you can fix it before you save it (:  what do you think?
