The Chase

Thousands of members have joined the chase. The chance to win it all. The ultimate title: Miss Stardoll World.

Broadcasts are full, and there are always new GB entries and messages showing up.

"Vote, vote, vote!"

Stardoll makes it so easy to advertise yourself.

Everyone has such high hopes. But the truth is that 99% of these members will not even make the top 680. Then what will they think? Why am I not good enough? What makes them better than me?

The straight truth is that those who do become finalist may not be better than you. Maybe they just have more money to broadcast. Or maybe they offered an incentive for votes. In the real world this is known as bribery

I'm sure if we all took a step back and realized that these pixels mean nothing, all this insanity wold go away. But the truth  is, that's impossible to do.

Everyone wants it, only one can have it.
Let the chase begin.

PS: Did you like my scenery?
PPS: There will be changes with the writes soon, some will go - and who knows, maybe there will be new ones!

Well first of all to the Anon. : I wonder how old YOU are to not have the courage to show your real name or username. And you seem to care, too.Otherwise you wouldn't have read the article.

I guess that Stardoll chooses some of the finalists themselves. The members who have beeen on Stardoll for the longest time and have the most Starpoints. I somehow can't believe that everyon has the same chances. We'll see!

I am a bit creeped out by some things people are doing and saying to get votes. I don't know what madness is going to occur once it starts to be narrowed down.

I loved the scenery, did you make it just for this?

It would suck if you don't win/become a finalist if you spend +100 sd on broadcasts...

@Melinda: Thank you for standing up for me.

@Robyn: The scenery just kinda "called" to me. I know that sounds weird, but the absolute desperation on stardoll of people wanting votes for MSW was just so strong I had to make a scenery about it.
