Books, Books, And More Books.

Aha sorry about my lack in posts, or will, the entire blogs lack of posts. (Where are my writers by the way? :P)

Anyways, my internet is so annoying because it is sooo slow at the moment and I really don't have any patience for it. Instead, for the past few days I have immersed myself in re-reading some of my favourite books.

In two short days, I read the entire Hunger Games series (which is three books). Has anyone ever read it before? If you haven't I highly recommend it. Here's the blurb, which will hopefully explain the book for you.

"Winning will make you famous.

Losing means certain death.

In a dark vision of the near future, a terrifying reality TV is taking place. Twelve boys an twelve girls are forced to appear in a live event called The Hunger Game. There is only one rule: kill or be killed.

When sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen steps forward to take her sister's place in the games, she sees it as a death sentence. But Katniss has been close to death before. For her survival is second nature."

You better be on your way to the shops right now to read this series. Even though the book is about children killing children, it does have a love story entwined through it.

The end of the series was very bittersweet for me, I don't want to give out to much, it does end up happy, but my two favourite characters end up dieing. And then the last line of Mockingjay (the third book in the series), it was like, I can't describe it, I love that line, even though things are about so much more than The Hunger Games, it brings it back to where it all began. Do you get what I mean? Your probably won't unless you have read the series. I really don't want to ruin it for you, so I won't say anything more.

After I finished that, I started re-reading Harry Potter... again

I am so obsessed with the series, but I can't help it. I saw Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part one a week ago and I was in love. Has anyone else seen it? I was just glued to the screen.

You all must know the epicness of Harry Potter, so I don't need to explain it to you.

And then, I started reading another series, which I didn't intend. Well, I am pretty sure it is a series anyways. The book is called Gone, and is about this town, where all the people over the age of fifteen just... disappear.

I started reading it not on purpose, I had private study in one of my classes and I had no homework. I was going to go to the library and find a book (Harry Potter was sadly at home), but it was closed. I was bored and my friend had a few books in her locker, so she let me read it.

To be honest, the starting was slow, but as I continued I started to really like. So far the only time I have read it is during class, so I have only gotten about halfway.

So I am in the middle of reading two books (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Gone), so I haven't really felt inclined to go online.

Anyways, sorry about this being nothing about fashion, but I didn't want to have no new posts!

What books are you reading?

OMG! I love all 3 of those series!! The hunger games are simply amazing, although I have to say I hated the last book :P it was just confusing and rushed and blehhhh. BUT the furst 2 are sooo good (:

and harry potter? need I say more. JK Rowling is a pure genius.

I've read Gone (and the rest of the series, yes it's a series) before, definitely high on the list of my favorite books. So far there are 3 books out in the series, but I think there are going to be 6 in total. The series is amazing, I highly recommend you read it all,and I'm so glad that you happened upon it (:
